The Head of Channel Management (Amazon & Pureplay Partners) is driving marketplace and consumer insights, measurable results and fast-forward innovation to advocate the Miele brand identity and sales presence at the specific online channels. Main tasks include leading the development of growth strategies and reactive initiatives to drive top-line sales, customer acquisition and traffic through the Pureplay Partners, Amazon vendor and Amazon advertising platforms .
This role collaborates with Marketing and eCommerce-Teams across the complete global organization to accelerate the benefit of growth initiatives and optimization programs, and continuously reports insights, learnings and developments, thanks to deep analytical mindset and experience.
Your responsibilities
- Primary source of information for all stakeholders relating to analytics and performance marketing ; act as a consultant to regional functions by providing guidance.
- Manage product ads on Amazon and potentially other marketplaces; Manage bids throughout entire campaign.
- Mentoring performance managers and manage cross-functional projects; drive the collection and understanding of customer engagement data.
- Guide the allocated performance marketing budget for driving the consumer acquisition across all digital marketplace channels, optimize products to e-commerce marketplace channels and monitor reviews and track customer feedback.
- Optimize products to e-commerce marketplace channels; drive the collection and understanding of customer engagement data.
- Lead the selection of tools to analyze performance and market data; monitor and track performance of all campaigns on all marketplace channels, including testing, reporting and performance dashboarding.
- Monitor reviews and track customer feedback.
- Quarterly definition and review of success metrics based on the overall market trends, main competitors etc.
Your profile
- Ideally university degree in business studies, major in marketing / digital brand management and other relevant fields.
- Foundational experience working for a premium brand in consumer, technology or FMCG industry with deep market and (premium) consumer behavior knowledge.
- Minimum 5 years experience managing either Amazon FBA, Seller Central or Vendor Central accounts.
- Minimum 5 years experience managing a team.
- Acknowledged communicator at all levels with a hands-on attitude with experience in managing international, cross-functional team and agile ways of working.
- Ability to draw conclusions based on analytic reports and KPIs; in-depth skills in managing large scale, complex paid search and shopping feed campaigns; strong math and analytical skills; extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to construct a cohesive, visual story to (non-) technical audiences; fluent business English, additional languages are an advantage.
