The Head of Content Management is responsible for the development of our fast-growing team and the management of a rich content world at Miele’s webshops of premium home appliances. It takes leadership creativity and strategic skills to manage and shape the premium onsite content creation, driving it to the next level. This role collaborates with eCommerce and other internal teams across the complete global organization to accelerate content optimization programs and processes with target to create premium onsite experience based on data and insights.
The role reports to the eCommerce Sales Director and the ideal candidate is a storyteller, team leader, collaborator, and problem solver with a deep understanding of content management and systems.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the growth and development of the Content Management Team, helping to set the strategic direction for the team and our approach to onsite content and processes.
- Shape exceptional webshop content experiences with focus on content creation, optimization and management, analyzing data and consumer insights.
- Build up a strong team and develop our people by helping them achieve their personal development objectives and ambitions. Create an environment where people can do their best work and grow.
- Play a leading role in cross-functional teams working closely with UX/UI, Product, SEO, CRO, Brand, Digital Campaigns and frontend development to ensure technical alignment, best-in-class-performance and consistence, in order to deliver a simple and smooth onsite user experience.
- Inspire the development of first-class webshop content across internal teams and develop ongoing improvements in content management, processes, workflows, operations and technical infrastructure.
- Create excellent written and verbal communication and ensure the quality of content, always in alignment with a creative mindset and with the user on top of mind.
- Constantly discover new customer needs and identify business opportunities by continuous research.Guide the creation of multimedia content that raises the webshop performance to the next level based on Data.
- Target the specific audiences and meet company objective, KPI’s for performance marketing and the Webshop.
Your profile
- Strong experience working for a premium brand in consumer, technology or FMCG industry.
- At least ten years of experience in Senior content roles where you have been using data and consumer insights to lead content improvements across the customer lifecycle as part of creating better digital experiences.
- Advanced technical knowledge of CMS, Content technology, Analytics, SEO, CRO. Strong experience in PIM, Content operations and transformation are preferred.
- Experienced in Content Management and managing e-Commerce websites. Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity.
- Minimum 5 years experience in managing a content management team, preferably in global scale.
- Strong communication and organization skills with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude and experienced in agile ways of working as well as being an assertive team-player with project management skills, an international mindset, and fluent in business English (business level).
- Ideally university degree in Communication or a similar experience within a related field.
