The Solution Architect eCommerce is responsible for driving the global implementation of new features and requirements on the SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly SAP Hybris Commerce). In close collaboration with the business the role is defining requirements and prioritizes the agile development backlog. The role is taking end-to-end responsibility for the solution including the integration in backend systems and processes.
Your responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for the specification and implementation of new features in accordance with Miele’s digital commerce roadmap.
- Driving constant improvement for the global digital commerce processes (sales / service / CRM / digital marketing) as well as the digital commerce architecture.
- Design and implement interfaces to internal and external systems, considering end-to-end process requirements across all systems.
- Understand and challenge business requirements keeping Miele’s digital commerce strategy and objectives in mind.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders as part of interdisciplinary teams ensuring successful execution of tasks and projects.
- Ensure the smooth transition of the solutions developed in the projects into operations and support the change management of the newly defined processes and methods in the specialist departments.
Your profile
- A degree in computer science or other comparable fields.
- Several years of professional experience - preferably in IT and / or IT consulting - in the field of digital commerce (SAP Commerce Cloud/ Hybris) with end-to-end project experience.
- Ideally experience in integrations with SAP CRM / ECC / S/4 backend systems, payment and tax systems, (mobile) web technologies and application integration.
- Experience in digital transformation and optimization of business processes with a focus on digital commerce activities as well as sound knowledge of the IT architecture, administration and operation.
- High willingness to perform and take responsibility paired with excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, reliability and a confident appearance.
- Fluent business English; communication skills in German are a plus.
