Miele X is growing fast and because of that we are looking for a QA Engineer! As a new member, reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, you are going to be part of the Quality Assurance team, embedded within one of our product teams. You will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and implementing automated tests for Miele’s eCommerce solutions globally. This position is responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the product, including APIs and user interfaces. In close collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders, the QA Engineer will provide the basis for further scalable growth.

Your responsibilities
- Working with the Product Owners, Developers and Architects, you will be responsible for the specification and implementation of an effective test strategy using our automated testing framework to provide coverage of new or existing applications, products, and services within your product team.
- You will plan, create, and conduct manual testing where automation is not possible and perform regular maintenance and enhancements on the existing test base. In addition, you will implement non-functional testing, including performance, security, accessibility, and reliability testing.
- Promote proper QA engineering practices such as effective defect ownership and management, coding standards, TDD, testability, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts.
- Be active withing the QA team to drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new technologies and ways of working and rolling these out to Miele X.
Your profile
- 4+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance in an Agile environment.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and Cypress.
- Excellent test automation skills in addition to top-notch manual testing skills.
- Fluent English.
