At Miele X, we are looking for an experienced, hard-working individual with strong analytical implementation skills, critical and out of the box thinking to join our eCommerce IT team as Tagging engineer. As Data plays a key role in driving business, strategic and operational decisions, having the right measurements and tracking solutions is crucial to our success.
Your responsibilities
- Work on Miele’s global MarTech roadmap to become best-in-class. Implement and operate specialized MarTech solutions in accordance with business requirements and develop own prototypes/solutions where reasonable.
- Optimize the architecture and processes to develop, release and operate own solutions for marketing automation, analytics, tag management and A/B testing.
- Communicate and break down highly complex data problems into simple, feasible solutions.
- End-to-end delivery of analytics technical implementation projects.
- Identify data collection issues, suggest improvements and work to implement fixes. Act as a liaison between business owners and application development teams.
Your profile
- A degree in Computer Science or other comparable fields. 3+ years’ work experience in product analytics and marketing automations, having worked closely with product in an e-commerce company or business area.
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript and frontend debugging.
- Expertise in developing solutions with Tag Management Systems (GTM, Tealium, Adobe Launch) and good knowledge on Analytics solutions (GA, Adobe Analytics) and how data is extracted and used within reporting tools.
- You are used to developing and implementing measurement plans and tagging strategies, as well as the ability to QA analytics implementations.
- Highly collaborative, able to work with both technical (data science, developers) and business (analytics, digital marketing) stakeholders. Fluent business English; communication skills in German are a plus.
