Overall objective/Purpose of position

To support Digital Business teams in overcoming critical market blind spots by enhancing the outside-in perspective through accessible and actionable market intel. This role is critical in ensuring that market insights are effectively leveraged to drive strategic decisions and enhance the performance of Digital Business teams.

Your day-to-day job

  • Analyze and Interpret Data: Analyze and interpret third-party data sources to extract actionable market insights and convert these insights into actionable formats.
  • Integrate Market Data: Integrate third-party consumer behavior, retailer, and market trends data into the workflows of business teams, ensuring this valuable market data is actively used in decision-making processes.
  • Develop Intel Infrastructure: Develop the infrastructure and tools necessary for market intel to flow smoothly across relevant teams, making it accessible and actionable for supporting insights-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the Digital Commercial Coordination Manager to identify and communicate key market dynamics or shifts in VG strategy that could impact the Business teams' activities.
  • Identify and Address Blind Spots: Identify potential blind spots early, helping business teams address challenges before they impact performance.
  • Competitive Analysis: Focus on competitors’ B2B eCommerce activities and develop tactics to gain market share.

What success will look like in two years

 

  • Key consumer, competitor and other market relevant insights available in the Miele world are leveraged efficiently and effectively to support the Digital Business teams in data-driven decision-making
  • The role evolves to become a central hub for strategic market intelligence, continuously enhancing Miele X’s ability to anticipate market trends and respond proactively to competitive dynamics.

  • In-depth knowledge of eCommerce markets and consumer behavior, ideally with experience in multiple geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting.
  • Experience developing scalable collaboration tools for consolidating and sharing market insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
