How did you find out about Miele X?

I’ve always wanted to meet new people and become more internationally-minded. I had my first experience of executive recruitment in Ukraine and really enjoyed it. After completing my studies, I moved to the Netherlands and joined a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) company. This meant I was outsourced to many different organisations, including Miele X.

What attracted you to join Miele X permanently?

I knew very little about Miele X before I joined, but I knew the Miele brand, which has a reputation for high quality. When I joined I soon discovered that the culture and the people here are special. The family ownership still steers the culture of the business. So, if you have a problem, you always have a team to back you up.

After working as a recruitment professional in the Miele X team for 18 months through an agency, I realised that it was a team I wanted to properly be a part of. So, when the opportunity arose to join them permanently as an HR Generalist, I jumped at the chance. It’s not only a great team, but my new role allows me to focus on learning and development, on-boarding and general HR services, as well as recruitment.

What’s special about the Miele X culture?

I think Miele X has a great purpose. We’re working on a global scale, with the security of a well-known, premium brand. I call it a scale up within a corporate organisation. It has the feel of a start-up, but the behaviours of a big business, which gives it stability. And we’re working on a global scale, so there are lots of opportunities available to grow and learn.

Our team is also very welcoming and the environment is energetic, dynamic and entrepreneurial.  Our team is full of experts and they are brilliant at what they do, whilst also being happy to share that expertise with others.  We like to have fun!

What do you enjoy about your role?

Meeting new people and hearing their stories. On a daily basis I talk to a variety of experts from around the world. I also feel my role is very important. A lot of what we’re doing here at Miele X is brand new and we need new talent to influence the way we work. Without the right people there wouldn’t be any success, because successful hires lead to a successful business.

What about your future?

I have a clear development plan of what I want to achieve and how I want to achieve it. So, I want to learn as much as possible by being exposed to lots of different projects and challenges. At Miele X, I know I’ll have that opportunity.
