The Senior UX/UI Designer at Miele X is responsible for the customer journey and front-end experience of Miele’s digital platforms. They will be part of the Digital UX/UI team whose mission is to create a premium digital shopping experience.
Through design thinking activities, conducting usability/AB tests, and studying data, they will continuously refine the user experience. This role has an end-to-end responsibility for frontend design, from ideating and prototyping to delivering and optimizing features.
The ideal candidate has in-depth customer behaviour knowledge and understands how to develop responsive e-Commerce concepts and integrate them across various tools and touchpoints for the Miele premium brand.
Your responsibilities
- Create customer-centric e-Commerce customer journeys and translate requirements into brand and product story.
- Design wireframes and UI assets that consider all use cases and represent the premium brand. Contribute to Component Library and Design System.
- Conduct Design Thinking workshops to best understand the customer’s decision-making process.
- Create AB and Usability Tests to gain learnings, conduct competitor reviews and customer surveys, and monitor website data to gain insights for design decisions.
- Partner with Product Manager on features to continuously optimize the user experience, and collaborate closely with IT and Performance.
Your profile
- Ideally university degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or have similar experience within a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design preferred with a Digital design portfolio with e-Commerce experience.
- Foundational experience working for a premium brand in consumer or FMCG industry. With an international mindset and fluent business English.
- Have a collaborative team spirit, always striving to learn new things and experienced in agile ways of working.
- Excellent prototyping and design skills (Sketch, Figma, etc) and a deep understanding of new software/web technologies. You have a customer-centric creative mindset and can review both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
