The Technical Web Analyst is a dual role of Technical (web) Analyst and Tagging Engineer. You will work with the GTM Team and will use your expertise to function as a go-to person for GTM operations.
Your work will build the data infrastructure and pipeline data into the relevant systems, making data driven decisions and insights a reality. Constantly striving for optimized processes and best in class solutions, you will enable the business to Get X Done.
Your responsibilities
- Understand, optimize and execute the requirements for tagging for third party, international agencies and internally and also process data enrichment requests from various stakeholders.
- Inform and improve structure put in place so far within Google Tag Manager.
- You will work within in the relevant tools -> Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Floodlight, and particular CMS implementations in conjunction with your teammates in the web analytics department.
- Anticipate on common technical issues. Be responsible for making accurate estimates and delivering on time. Comfortable and proactive with stakeholder communication is a must.
- Determine together with your team members appropriate strategies and optimisations for day to day workflows. An eye for long term strategies discussed and blueprinted with your teammates and in co-ordination with the Head of Digital Analytics, for sustainable and scalable technical solutions for data enrichment and tagging.
- Work in close collaboration both remotely and onsite with your team mates.
- Have a strong aptitude for well documented processes, tools and templates.
- Work in an Agile Scrum environment.
- GDPR aware and prepared to incorporate into workflows.
Your profile
- Strongly technical background with expert level experience (5+ years appreciated) in tagging infrastructure and tools.
- Javascript, some jQuery, some python experience and general coding skillsets required. Experience working in a JIRA Agile scrum environment.
- Applying best in class, future proof and strategic tagging practices to provide high-quality analytics for multiple use cases.
- Work on a backlog of activities to structure a future proof tagging, data layer and data input infrastructure and promote data input maturity in the organization.
- Understand a collaborate on the tools’ benefits, best practices, governance, and usage. You are strategically minded with an aptitude for data strategy and some data engineering.
